The Touch Mine Anointed Fallacy!
WARNING - This article may offend blind brainwashed Christians - You have been warned!
These words do not apply to all but they do apply to many!

Nathan Leal - May 23, 2008

"But in vain they worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." Matt. 15:7

In these last days there are very powerful men behind pulpits.

They are powerful because all of the words that leave their mouths are caught by the thousands of believers that hear them. They are caught, polished, and stored in the minds of the listeners.

Are their words questioned by those in the assembly? Are you kidding? To do so, would bring the wrath of Almighty God upon them!

Why would God do such a thing? Because that is what Christians are taught.

The warnings are clear; "Touch not mine annointed." If anyone has been a Christian long enough, they have heard this verse. And this verse has been used as a gag order to anyone that might have a question or a complaint about the actions of a minister.

Let me put it in laymen's terms brethren, it means, "SHUT UP." The circumstances do not matter.

If you know that your pastor is having an affair with the secretary, "SHUT UP!"

If you know that your pastor is driving to the next town and touching little boys, "SHUT UP!"

If your pastor is getting rich off of the offerings of the flock, living in a mansion while the people of the church are on foodstamps, "SHUT UP!"

I could go on.

But what did Jesus say? He warned about the wolves. And all throughout the Bible, we can read that God warns against the hirelings that will make merchandise of the saints. Check out II Peter 2.

Oh yes, God mentions some pretty hard accusations against these ministers.

God says:
They are full of coveting, they walk after the lust of their flesh, they are self-willed, they speak about things that they do not understand, they have spots and blemishes. And while they deceive you, they still feast with you....!

Have you ever heard a sermon...from a pulpit....on II Peter chapter 2 ?

God warned us. How many people are listening? Very few!

Instead of becoming vigilant against wolves, the people of God are feeding them.

"They are wells without water" II Peter 2:17

Interesting concept huh? God ordains shepherds to FEED the flock. But unfortunately they have NO water to give. So, instead the flock is feeding them, with their hard earned cash.

It is backwards!

How can this be? Simple. The people do not know any better because the people have not read their Bibles!

The gag order verse - "Touch not mine anointed" has nothing to do with Pastors!

Don't believe me? Check this out, this is the verse that is quoted:

"Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm." Psalms 105:15

But what is this passage talking about? Here it is: Psalms 105:6-15

O seed of Abraham His servant,
You children of Jacob, His chosen ones!

He is the LORD our God;
His judgments are in all the earth.

He remembers His covenant forever,
The word which He commanded, for a thousand generations,

The covenant which He made with Abraham,
And His oath to Isaac,

And confirmed it to Jacob for a statute,
To Israel as an everlasting covenant,

Saying, "To you I will give the land of Canaan
As the allotment of your inheritance,"

When they were few in number,
Indeed very few, and strangers in it.

When they went from one nation to another,
From one kingdom to another people,

He permitted no one to do them wrong;
Yes, He rebuked kings for their sakes,

Saying, "Do not touch My anointed ones,
And do My prophets no harm."

Psalms 105:6-15

The context is very clear. It is is referring to the Children of Israel when they were wandering around in strange countries.

This has NOTHING to do with questioning the unlawful deeds of a greedy shepherd.

We must also keep in mind that Christian Political Correctness is a gag order that seeks to keep the truth hidden.

Folks, today we are in a mess. Most of the American church is asleep because it is being led by immature greedy ministers. Strong words huh? The flock is not being prepared to be a strong, holy, and tough army of God.

There are charlatans out there brethren! Which ones are they? That is where your discernment has to come in. But let me give you a hint; are they challenging you to live holy or do they just always talk about getting rich?

Are they getting rich off of your hard earned money or the fixed income of your parents?

Do they fly around in fancy jets while you struggle to pay for the gas in your car?

There are VERY hard times ahead for all of us. God's judgment has begun in America!

We need to get prepared spiritually and in practical means. Get wise! Get out of debt!

This message was not an easy one to read, but I did warn you at the beginning.

Friends in these last days, we must put on the mind of Christ and really get the Word of God into our hearts.

Stay tuned for many more articles, lessons and teachings to prepare for the days that we are living in.

God Bless you,

Nathan Leal
