Michigan Oil spill among largest in Midwest history - maybe more to Nathan's prophecy than we know?
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/0..._n_661196.html As the Gulf Coast deals with the worst environmental disaster in U.S. history, the Midwest is now facing an oil spill of its own. A state of emergency has been declared in southwest Michigan's Kalamazoo County as more than 800,000 gallons of oil released into a creek began making its way downstream in the Kalamazoo River, the Kalamazoo Gazette reports. The trouble began Monday at 9:45 a.m., when an oil pipeline owned by Enbridge Liquids Pipelines sprung a leak in Marshall Township. Enbridge Energy is a subsidiary of Calgary, Canada based Enbridge Inc., the Detroit Free Press reports. According to the company, it is the largest transporter of oil from western Canada. The cause of the leak is under investigation, and the pipeline has been shut down--but not before it did some serious damage. U.S. Rep. Mark Schauer called the spill the "largest oil spill in the history of the Midwest." Officials are suggesting all water activities in the Kalamazoo River be put on hold until the situation is resolved--and some are fearing contamination of local water supplies: More the above link Last edited by Nathan; 08-19-2010 at 02:18 AM. |

Wow.... Just recently they had a pipeline burst in Utah too. Owned by Chevron and dumped into Red Creed Butte and into the Jordan River there.... http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/37664548/
Just a snippet as we know how this ends..... June 12th SALT LAKE CITY — A leaked pipeline sent oil spilling into a Salt Lake City creek, coating geese and ducks and closing a park, officials said Saturday as they started a cleanup effort expected to last weeks. At least 400 to 500 barrels of oil spewed into Red Butte Creek before crews capped the leak site. Nearly 50 gallons of crude oil per minute initially had spilled into the creek, according to Scott Freitag, a Salt Lake City Fire Department spokesman. ---------------------------- They say it did not get to Salt Lake. Then there is an Egyptian spill into the Red Sea, a China spill in the Yellow Sea. The Gulf of Mexico, Nigeria is covered up with oil. And then you had a spill in Australia just last year that also belonged to BP. All this oil going into the waters of the Earth..... And the fracking of natural gas is making water catch on fire in people faucets and houses and well water. ( Fracking sounds like a bad word don't it? LOL but it's the word they use for that.) The coal sludge that went into Tennessee and Alabama rivers. Water, water everywhere and not a drop to drink... ![]() The waters turning to wormwood as these chemicals pollute the aquifers? The water filters do not filter out chemicals like oil and natural gas either. But I am no longer scared. Just very, very sad about all the deaths......

So many things are happening. Oil spills, earthquakes, tornados, and etc. Look forward to seeing the Lord. He is coming at the last trumpet. The waters turning to blood sounds like the third trump to me. These things have to happen, it is in God's word. God can not lie, and His word is not broken. Come Jesus. Come.

WOAH! That is incredibly rare that something like this would happen around the same time the gulf of mexico turned into a 'pool of blood?'
Truly, its hard to deny that this sounds like the plagues of Egypt: ![]() Something that I been reading and realizing in scripture.... is that Gods incredibly AWESOME protection is not as noticeable until trouble appears. In the story of Noah, Noah was mocked and persecuted for about 100 years, but what a fearrful sight it must have been to see that Ark Noah was in rise higher and higher above the very flood waters that were killing mankind. In Egypt, those who had covered their doors with "blood of a lamb" were protected from the plagues, and completely unharmed, all while the Egyptians were travailing in fear and agony at the plagues of the LORD GOD JEHOVAH. What a fearful sight it must have been, for both Gods people, and the Egyptians to see that the plagues were only unleashed on the Egyptians. In Sodom, the ENTIRE CITY, and its neighboring cities were entirely wiped out by fire and brimstone... all while Lot was led by angels because of the intercession that Abraham made for him to God. America has EGYPT written ALL OVER IT... we can only pray that we would be found worthy to escape the plagues headed our way. Its only begun. I know I'm not worthy, but I continue to pray that the Lord will prepare me and purge me to make me able to endure what is coming by His hand of protection, completely through the grace and mercy in the BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST to cover this unworthy temple. ![]() ![]() I have only had "visions" 2 times in my whole life, and one of them was while I was in prayer. The vision had nothing to do with what I was praying about, but I knew it had signifcance. I saw a large river/stream, that had a very large dam. The Dam was hurling out of it WATER THAT WAS RED LIKE BLOOD. This entire river seemed to be like blood. It was a HUGE river. That was the end of the vision, but it was very vivid. I then remembered the scripture in Revelation 16:4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. I do believe that we WILL see all that was written by the prophets of old come to pass in our generation, and very soon! Thank you for this article, Kevin. In Christ, David

Hi
I'm new but I had to share this,I live in Albion Mi. which is about 7 miles from where the oil started leaking, it was the most shocking incident to happen to the little town of Marshall. I went to the river and cried at all the beaty wiped away by this horrific disaster, the smells were overwhelming, the birds were all covered and the fish were floating on the water gasping . I know that it is God will or else it wouldn't have happened but please keep us in your prayers as we try to clean this mess up. Blessings to all |

I will be praying for you. I lived in Michigan for a very long time in Grand Rapids and still have all my mom's side of the family there. May Yeshua put His peace on you that passes understanding and use this situation to bring those who do not know Him to salvation.
Blessings to you too. Nancy |
