Default Dave Wilkerson

Dave had a vision about a banking crisis. He said first one country would fail but not effect US much because Euro banks will rescue them. Then 2 weeks later Mexico would go down and that would cause US banks to close. He said we need to get cash out before Mexico falls.

Iceland was rescued by Euros lent to it by Russia. I looked up Mexico and their peso is falling like a rock. I do not know if this is what he was speaking of but it is close enough that I am getting the small amount of cash we have out of the bank. It can easily go back in in 3 weeks if nothing happens.

Yes, I think it is prudent advise. We should all keep some cash on hand. Leaving just enough to keep the account open. Whether it is a financial crash or environmental issue we should be prepared. T

I have been a missionary in Mexico for 9 years now, and i will vouch for the fact that the peso is indeed "falling like a rock". It has gone down more in the last two days than at any time in the last 9 years that i have been here. I don't know how the failure of the Mexican banks will affect the U.S., but it very likely will cause a major disruption in the banking system. I would say David Wilkerson is probably right on in his prophsey, and it would be good sound advise to take precautions. I am in sort of a difficult situation in that area. I am a disabled Vietnam veteran and get a disability pension from Uncle Sugar. That is how i am able to be an independent missionary. I get enough from my pension that i can support my family plus my mission very nicely. I don't need to drum up support from churches north of the border. My pension is a direct deposit into my bank. I don't have a large surplus of cash in the bank, but i am wondering what it would do to my direct deposit if the banks were to close? Anybody have any insight on that i would appreciate it. Robert

David Wilkerson's Economic Vision

Key points to remember about this vision:

1. From the time the first country goes down, you'll have two weeks to get your money out of the bank.

2. America will come through this crisis---there will be a restoration.

3. But the nation will never be like it was before...

4. God is saying: Get our lives straight...Get rid of the idols...Seek the face of God in holiness...

5. God will be a wall of fire about you...And the glory in the midst of you!

It's about to happen---very soon, one nation, and I'm speaking prophetically--if I've ever heard anything from God in my life, I heard it ... Very soon a European or North African or Eastern nation is going to default on its international loan and when that happens, within two weeks, Mexico is going to default. Mexico owes $100 billion ---80% of it to American banks---and here's what is going to happen: about two weeks after the first country goes bankrupt, (we're going to survive that, because most of that (money of the first country) is owed to European banks---German, Swiss and French banks) but a second country is going to go down, probably Argentina or Brazil, and we'll kind of live that down and say: "Well, maybe it's not going to hurt," but two weeks after the first country goes down, Mexico's going to default on $100 billion.

And when the banks open the next day at 9 in the morning, $15 billion an hour is going to be withdrawn from our American banks -they're going to be running our banks---the Arabs---all the Latin American countries, they're going to be running our banks--and before the day is over, the U.S.A is going to have to declare a "bank holiday."

SIX MONTHS OF HORROR:

And we're going into six months of the worst hell America has ever seen---there's going to be chaos---not even the National Guard's going to be able to quiet it down---we're going to have to call out the whole U.S. Army.

Now I've had visions recently, for I've been in New York City and I was in Macy's in a vision, and I saw people walking around stunned because they couldn't get their money out of the bank.

Now I'm going to give you a word of advice, the first country goes bankrupt---I've documented this and I've got it sealed in an envelope, and I'm going to call all my friends and I'm telling you---this is the first time I've said it in a public meeting like this---but the first country that bellies up, you go get every dime you have---church get your money out of the bank--because there's going to be a 'bank holiday' and you won't be able to get a dime for six months. Now, of course, there's going to be -restored, but the nation will never be like it is again.

There's going to be fear like we've never known---judgment at the door. When I was at Macy's Dept. store in a vision and I watched people walking around stunned, they didn't know what to do, they didn't know what was happening; then a bunch of people walked into Macy's and suddenly went wild and began to steal and within an hour everybody---I saw the spirit of everybody in the store---they were robbing and stealing---they raped Macy's and destroyed five floors---Macy's was raped and ruined in a period of an hour or two.

That's just the beginning. Folks it's all in this book (the bible) ---we've been warned and warned and warned---you can't tell me God hasn't warned us. You can't tell me God isn't saying something awesome here tonight in this church...we better get our prayer life straightened up, our lives straightened up, get rid of the idols, as Paul writes, and seeking the face of God in holiness or you're not going to be ready for what's coming. God's warning, get ready and you'll not fear these things that come onto you and you'll start rejoicing, you'll not be afraid because your hands will be clean. You've been praying and God's building a wall of fire around you to keep you."

We'd like to teach you a song about God's protection. It goes like this.: "There's a wall of fire around me...There's a wall of fire between my soul and the enemy. There's a wall of fire that you can't see...Between my soul and the enemy. There's a wall of fire around me. May it be so with us all..."

I don't know if current situation fits this. What do you think? I'm also not sure how to find out how much Mexico owes to US. Thanks for finding this text! I don't think Iceland defaulted on a loan - at least that's not what the article I read said. Just said they had to be rescued.

Default Not authentic

This vision of six months of horror and the specific noted sequence of events is NOT from Pastor Dave Wilkerson of Time Square Church in New York. His vision is located here at his own web site and is similar but several important sequences and events are not included: http://www.worldchallenge.org/en/new...e_of_this_hour

Reason 1: Please see the correction of this vision at this web site: http://www.thetreeofliberty.com/vb/s...ad.php?t=32460

Reason 2: I emailed World Challenge myself and received this reply (you can email or call them yourself):
We appreciate you writing and your concern. There has been an "economic vision" e-mail circulating for a couple of years that has been attributed to David Wilkerson. You will not find this prophecy in any of our publications or materials. It was not preached at Times Square Church. Some of the prophecy sounds familiar to Brother Dave from a meeting in 1983, or 1984, but because he did not record it, it now appears to be embellished to the point that we cannot verify its authenticity.
Pastor Wilkerson has always been very obedient to make public all the prophecies that the Lord directs him to share with the body of Christ. Those prophecies are recorded in his books, The Vision, The Vision and Beyond, God's Plan to Protect His People in the Coming Depression, and America's Last Call.
Thank you again for writing, and may the Lord be with you in a special way today.

Dont know if this will help but I am a member at ATN where I saw this posted several months ago. The admin of ATN attends Wilkersons church in NY and when we had a debate on this prophecy it was concluded that this was transcribed by someone during a sermon by Dave not givin at Times Square and not officially recorded. So It may or may not be from him. It is very possible someone was taking notes at a sermen and curculated it but we wont know until it does or does not happen. It dosent really sound like Daves style to me. Also I saw somewhere on here a comment that most of those on ATN are pre trib, not so... a few are but it is not a pre trip forum and in my experence most are not. Those who are bring it up alot as it seems to be where every topic leads them but the admin has made an effert to keep the posts relativly free from pre trip arguments.

Sis Calledupagain, you are right, it is not his style. It just seems that now that he may not be preaching as much or anymore - we don't know yet - but it seems because of that, there's been a sudden attack on him. I can fully understand why. He's been at it since '54 and lived an exemplary life.
Is "pentecostal" - former AoG - never ripped anyone off - has all sorts of street ministries and has brought people of every ethnic background together and never went into any big wacko stuff. I went to him for prayer about something back in the 80's and he got a word-of-knowledge immediately - that what I was asking was not my big problem but "fear" was.
One of the humblest humans I've met. Looking into his eyes, I felt the compassion I seldom see in all my yr.s. I basically chased him back stage after he had preached in RI and most big name men, would have had body guards or no time for anyone. He was so welcoming and saw right through me immediately.
A few others were behind me and he took his time with them as well.
Right to the point he went, with such love and a prayer that would bring anyone to tears.
Genuine - that's why. NOT SELF seeking. That's why they killed Jesus & His people.
I look back on those days - 30 or more yr.s ago and can't believe what we're living amongst anymore. Self-seeking glory hounds every where you look. The persecution will drive that out or bring them down. I don't believe we'll see Jesus' prayer in Jn 17 answered until the persecution is full blown.
