"But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign;..."

Spoken by the mouth of our Lord and Savior, signs are for evil people. Why? Because people are by nature, people! And what do people want by nature? They want to be entertained! They want to be wooed! They want to see a "show".

People like to go to the circus.

But there is also something that people DO NOT like to do. People do not like to deal with the sin that is in their heart. By nature, our flesh does not want to bow its knee to God. Pride hates to repent. Why?

Because it means that you have to stop! Stop living like the devil!

So, instead of the people of God going to church and spending their time repenting, the churchgoers would rather go to church and see a show.

Today's Christian Sideshow

What kind of show you ask, a circus, a sideshow, a display, where a mystic comes as an invited guest and tells the stories of supernatural events.

This is usually followed by the "Merlin" encounter where the multitudes will flock to the front of the church and gather by the platform.

Are they gathering at the front to pray or lay prostrate in repentance to our Lord?  No! They are there to take part in a show!

Psychic Readings and Slain in the Spirit

Side by side they stand. And one by one, the charlatan goes to each person and gives them a prophetic "word". After they hear this "psychic reading", the encounter is finished with either the mystic blowing on the churchperson where they then fall backwards and lay on the ground for a minute, or the "shaman" will then place his hand on their foreheads and push them backwards, where of course they end up lying on the ground for one or two minutes.

These "SIGNS" go on for awhile until everyone that wants to get "slain" has had their turn.

After they are finish lying on the ground, they get up and go back to their seat. Sometimes, some of the really eager people will get back in the line so that they can get "SLAIN" again. Oh yes, I have seen this!

But the People Seek Healing!

I do not fault people for wanting to get healed. We should pray for the healing of others. However, when Christians gather, the outer healing should not be the main focus.

What good is it to focus on healing a person if he or she is going to be burning in hell after they die? This is true folks, we cannot overlook the big picture!

The judgment of God is coming upon this land, not because people are sick in their bodies. It is coming to this land because people are sick in their souls and because most people in the church DO NOT want to deal with the sin in their life.

The Substitute for Repentance

So after these people go up front and get slain in the spirit, are they changed? I don't know, you tell me? Is the dark stain of sin removed from their soul?

And herein lays the problem with these types of meetings. Was there a message delivered: of repentance or warning or rebuke, by the so-called prophet?

Were the people challenged that holiness living is the bottom-line?

Were the people told by the prophet, that if they did not stop their backslidings they were tempting fate?

Were the people told by the prophet that, the only sign that they needed to see was what Jonah gave, "REPENT"!

I don't think so! And this is a problem folks. Today, there are many of what I call "charlatans", out there. These imposters parade as men of God but are really the frauds that Jesus tried to warn us about.

Who Do You Think Jesus was Talking About?

"Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."   Matthew 7:22-23

Folks, just because they are holding the microphone and have everyone’s attention does not mean that they are "of God"!

Jesus told us that there would be frauds out there. I find it interesting that when some watchmen start to identify a false teacher, Christians will come to their defense and argue that there is NO way that their man of the hour could not be a charlatan.

So was Jesus lying? If Jesus was telling the truth then it is your job to "MAKE SURE"!

Am I Against These Things?

Are you mad at me yet? Am I saying that physical healing should not be pursued? Of course not! Am I saying that I am against getting "SLAIN" in the spirit? Again, no I am not! I myself have touched people and had them go down. But, it can become too easy to make that phenomenon the focus of a meeting.

It can become too easy for a preacher to let that phenomenon go to their heads. I have actually gone out to eat with those types of preachers after a service. During the meal I witnessed the preacher telling me, "Did you see how many people got 'SLAIN' tonight in MY service?"

Pride brethren! Even among the supposed ministers of God, the "body count" of those that are "slain" becomes the focus.

A minister should not just be focusing on "pushing" people down in a prayer line or only outer healing. He should instead be focusing on the condition of their soul.

Hey, Mr. Preacher, get them to the altar and on their knees. Let God touch them, NOT you!

Biblical Discernment

In these last days, God warns us that there will be "fakes" out there! Therefore, that means that it is up to you to "test" those spirits. This means that you need to have discernment.

Am I saying that Todd Bentley is fake? Based on what he has said from the pulpit, this guy is full of HERESY! Watch this - - Watch video ( Excuse me? He healed an old lady by kicking her in the face??? )

It is too demonic! I had a reader contact me and tell me that after viewing the video, he had an evil all night demonic attack where an evil spirit was in his room. He had to do spiritual warfare to get rid of it. And this happened from just viewing a video of Todd Bentley going into weird spasms!

Todd Bentley testifies that he does not have to tell the people about Jesus, but about the "Supernatural" and about the ANGEL - "Emma", This angel - Emma is the one who recruited him!!

WHAT! That's right folks, God did not call him, an angel did! Any red flag yet?

Who is Emma?

In his services he manifests a spirit that is anything but God! (See video) Update June 6, I have removed the video because of the oppression that is associated with it. It is too demonic! Imagine that! I have to actually censore this guy because that spirit is like the PLAGUE and it leaks everywhere! After I watched devil-man Todd, an oppression actually started to try to overshadow me! Lord rebuke you Satan!

Brethren hear this watchman. The services and words of Todd Bentley have a STRANGE GOSPEL! He testifies that he can travel around the world in the spirit "at will". Folks, that is demonic Astral Projection!

No Revival?

There is no repentance mentioned! Why not? I have to ask? And if there is NO REPENTANCE mentioned, then how can it be a revival?

Be careful out there! And be careful who you allow to lay hands on you! And speaking of laying on of hands. This false revival is reporting that it has the most "INFECTIOUS" anointing that they have ever seen. Again, DANGER! DANGER! DANGER! This is a false spirit of BAAL that all of those "Blind Knuckle-Headed" Pastors are infecting their flock with!!

It is up to you to decide.

Is anyone really mad at me now? What should I do, throw down my Bible and listen to Todd Bentley ...or you for that matter?

NEVER!

Have discernment brethren!

"I don't know how to have discernment," You might be saying. Well, allow me to give you a little hint. It’s called the "Bible"! Do the scriptures support what these people are saying and doing?

Was the prophet's job that we see in scripture, the job of going to synagogues and lining people up and doing mystical psychic readings or fortune telling? I do not find that in the Bible! And if this is not found in the Bible, why are these things being done in churches?

In the Bible, a prophet's job was to say, " Thus saith the Lord...stop it!

Their job was NOT to hand out Christian fortune cookies to a bunch of sinning Christians!

Discernment Brethren! Discernment! Just because the "guest" can tell a "cool" angel story, does not make him legitimate! Angel stories seem to be a part of these circus events. Which right there, should raise a red flag! Who disguises as an "Angel of Light"? That's right old "slew-foot" himself.

Folks, be vigilant! Be wise! People that seek after holiness do not need or seek these "SIGNS".
